The breakfast was awesome, I loved lots of food they served. The location was stunning and incredible in a pretty quiet area, close enough to a mountain side, Buffalo mountain and the forest.

Enjoyed its courteous and exceptional staff.
Had a such great stay on a hot weekend. The breakfast was awesome and offered lots of options. Stunning location adjacent to Tunnel Mountain and hiking and the pine trees, I felt safe. It also was very close to nature.

the Lodge is very cozy and comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpful and fun. It's a very nice. and comfortable. We have stayed there 2 other times and enjoyed it very much. It is close to town but out in nature. Fire place is a nice touch. Cozy
There is only one thing that was very uncomfortable and that was the mattress. Hard to move because of it's softness. I don't remember the other times of staying there as their being so uncomfortable.

The overall experience was quite pleasant, but we were
Disappointed by the noise levels from nearby guests. The upgraded room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was attentive, which we appreciated. The thin walls made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Fantastic location in an absolutely stunning area so close to Buffalo Mountain Lodge for 3 nights, the grocery store for more, and with a range of food that would be nearly impossible to source back home in England. Very well maintained building and rooms with beautiful decoration.

I loved the room, the help of staff getting to the Film Festival, and the fact that the dining room is IN the hotel, and has delicious food.
I found the room could use more lighting for evening reading. Also the internet connection was unreliable. Not everyone I suspect intends to stay and leave behind all obligations, thus if the internet connection had been more reliable, I could have responded to work issues with less anxiety.

The staff were very helpful. The room provided had great views and was quite comfortable. The restaurant provided very good dining for evening meals.
The breakfast buffet was not of the same standard as other dining experiences. Food was cold or in short supply.

I liked having a fireplace in my room and that the room was clean. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the short walk into town.
It was a bit more dated and smaller than I thought. But in comparison to other hotels (the fairmont) it was good value for the money. The hot tub had dirt and rocks in it, but we still enjoyed it.

decent but needs improvement
The private quarters offered a good level of privacy which is crucial for families. The balcony allowed us to enjoy some fresh air and the scenery.
The fireplace, while a nice feature, was not utilized .
